Le jeu est à l’espace ce que le récit est au temps. Une anthropologie ricœurienne du jeu comme mimèsis spatiale

En étudiant la logique qui unit l’activité ludique, la mise en règles du jeu et le corps des joueurs, cet article entend mettre en évidence une forme spatiale de mimèsis par le jeu. Il s’agit de mener une anthropologie ricœurienne du jeu, en prenant pour modèle l’analyse que fait Ricœur du rapport entre temps et récit. L’article montre alors que l’attitude ludique préfigure l’espace physique en espace vécu, que le jeu formalisé configure un espace de règles et que le corps du joueur est refiguré par transfert sur lui de la spatialité des règles du jeu. Cette application du modèle ternaire de la mimèsis ricœurienne permet ainsi une compréhension unifiée du jeu par l’espace, et de l’espace par le jeu.
