Resumen

Dans cet article, je cherche à reconstituer le débat esquissé entre Ricœur et Grünbaum touchant l’épistémologie de la psychanalyse freudienne. Le débat est esquissé plutôt qu’effectif, car l’échange est asymétrique (Grünbaum a lu et analysé Ricœur, mais la réciproque est plus douteuse). Pour mieux arbitrer ce débat virtuel, l’article présente d’abord l’originalité de la position de Ricœur touchant les concepts de motivation (mixte raison-cause) et de causalité (téléologique) puis, à cette aune, répond aux autres critiques de Grünbaum dans leur détail: la survalorisation de la relation clinique et du langage, la spécificité ontologique de la réalité psychique, l’originalité narrative de l’explication psychanalytique et le statut du symbole. L’article conclut à un triple apport de ce débat virtuel, concernant la spécificité de l’herméneutique psychanalytique, le rôle du transfert et, enfin, la nature “casuistique” de la connaissance psychanalytique.

Philippe Lacour, Universidade Federal de Brasilia

Enseigne la théorie du savoir et la philosophie des sciences à l'Université de Brasilia (Brésil). Spécialiste de philosphie des sciences humaines, il a rédigé une thèse de doctorat sur la notion de connaissance clinique. Il a publié notamment La nostalgie de l'individuel. Essai sur le rationalisme pratique de Gilles-Gaston Granger (Paris, Vrin, 2012) et de nombreux articles consacrés à Ricoeur. Il prépare un ouvrage sur l'épistémologie de Jean-Claude Passeron.
